Frequently Asked

The fine print.

Reservations, requirements, insurance, and the rest. If something isn't answered below, the concierge would be pleased to help.

001 — Reservations

Booking the drive.

How do I make a reservation?
Most reservations begin with a note to our concierge — by phone, email, or the form on our contact page. We respond within the hour during open hours, and by the following morning otherwise.
How far in advance should I book?
Two weeks is comfortable; a month is generous; a season is ideal for high summer or major events (Art Basel, Pebble Beach, the Aspen winter). We will of course try our best on shorter notice.
Is there a minimum rental period?
Our standard minimum is one day (24 hours). Multi-day reservations are encouraged for weekend and seasonal itineraries — speak with our concierge for week-long and event arrangements.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations made more than 72 hours before the start of a reservation receive a full refund of any deposit. Within 72 hours, a one-day rate applies. Force-majeure and weather days are accommodated case by case.
002 — Renter Requirements

Who can drive.

What is the minimum age?
Drivers must be at least 30 years of age for our Performance and Grand Touring categories, and 25 years for Executive and Convertible. Exceptions are considered case by case for our members.
What documents do you need?
A valid driver's license, a major credit card in the driver's name, and proof of personal auto insurance with comprehensive & collision coverage. International drivers should provide an IDP alongside their domestic license.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A refundable hold is placed against the credit card on file at the time of pickup or delivery. The amount varies by category, generally between $2,500 and $10,000. It is released within five business days of return.
Are mileage limits enforced?
Standard daily allowance is 150 miles, with overages billed at a fair per-mile rate by category. Most members find this generous; long-distance itineraries can be priced flat in advance.
003 — Delivery & Return

Handover, both ways.

Do you deliver to airports and FBOs?
Yes — commercial terminals and private aviation FBOs alike. A liveried associate will meet you at curb or cabin, vehicle staged and luggage handled.
How far will you deliver?
Complimentary within 50 miles of every Sierra residence. Beyond that, a per-mile rate applies, capped at any state border. Members at Patron and Legacy tiers enjoy extended complimentary radii.
What is included in handover?
Vehicle delivered detailed, with a full tank of fuel (or full charge), a short orientation, and a chilled bottle of water. Returns are accepted at any of our residences or by scheduled pickup.
004 — Insurance & Coverage

The covered ground.

What coverage is included?
Sierra carries comprehensive commercial coverage on every motorcar in the fleet. Renters are required to maintain personal auto insurance, which serves as the primary policy in the event of an incident.
Can I add supplemental coverage?
Yes. A daily collision-damage waiver is available across all categories, with a transparent deductible structure. We are happy to walk through the options with you.
What if there is an incident?
A direct line to our concierge is in every glovebox. Replacement vehicles are dispatched same-day where possible. We handle the paperwork on your behalf.
005 — Memberships

The standing relationship.

How do memberships work?
Members pay an annual fee in exchange for priority release on new bookings, complimentary delivery, a discount on all rates, and (at higher tiers) a number of driving days included in the membership.
Is membership required to rent?
No — non-members are warmly welcomed for individual reservations. Membership is intended for those who plan to rent often enough that priority and savings outpace the annual fee.
How do I apply?
Through the form on our contact page, or by referral from a current member. Every application is reviewed personally — most decisions arrive within a week, often with an invitation to the residence.
006 — The Vehicles

About the fleet.

Are these the actual cars I'll receive?
Yes. Each vehicle on the website is privately registered to Sierra. There are no surprise substitutions — if a particular motorcar is unavailable, we will discuss alternatives directly.
Can I request a specific colorway or trim?
Members may request specific colorways and trim configurations. Our brokerage can arrange one-off sourcing for select bookings — please allow additional lead time.
Are smoking and pets allowed?
Smoking is not permitted in any Sierra motorcar. Well-mannered pets are welcomed; a modest grooming fee is added so the next member arrives to an immaculate cabin.
